Andria is the founding Attorney at WHYTE WALTERS LAW <\/strong>a full service law firm in Kingston, Jamaica. A fierce and fearless Advocate, her approach to law is guided by her personal motto; \u201cA Voice for the Voiceless, A Shield for the Defenceless, An Advocate for ALL\u201d.<\/em> Andria has appeared in several Courts in Jamaica, namely the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, and Parish Courts.<\/p> Meticulous, efficient, results-driven, and dedicated, Andria\u2019s diverse practice covers all aspects of the law relating to Criminal Litigation; Civil and Commercial Litigation; Conveyancing and Property Law; Personal Injury; Family Law; Corporate and Company Law; Wills, Probate and Estate Planning; Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution; Intellectual Property Law; Administrative and Constitutional Law; Shipping and Maritime Law; Environmental and Planning Law; Data Protection and Cyber-security; and Employment and Labour Disputes.<\/p> She obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours from the University of London and her Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School (NMLS). While at Norman Manley Law School, she distinguished herself as a member of the team that won the Qatar International Cyber-security Law Moot Competition in Doha, Qatar in 2018. She was nominated by her peers to be Class Speaker (Valedictorian) on behalf of the 2020 graduating class and was a mentor to first-year students at the law school.\u00a0<\/p> Andria has a passion for public service that extends to social and economic justice and equity. Her keen sense of fairness and justice extends to governance and public policy, and she has helped to formulate policies leading to the successful implementation of key environmental, socio-economic, infrastructure, and education projects in furtherance of Jamaica\u2019s sustainable development.\u00a0 She strives to make a positive impact in her community and is the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners at the Anti-Dumping and Subsidies Commission. As Chairman of the Board at ADASC, Andria is focused on ensuring that Jamaica\u2019s legislative policies, along with the ADASC\u2019s public education mandate to defend our local industries from injury or threat of injury from predatory international trade practices are given effect; while also supporting mutually beneficial trade agreements with the global community. Andria\u2019s legal background and extensive business experience, along with her technical knowledge in monitoring and evaluation, will serve to advance Jamaica\u2019s trade agenda.<\/p> She is also a Board Member of the Airports Authority of Jamaica, and a Board Member of the Jamaica Business Development Corporation.<\/p> Andria is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association (JAMBAR), a Justice of the Peace, a Supreme Court Mediator, and a Restorative Justice Facilitator.
